Petra Coveney is our OTBM Yoga coach. She is the founder of Menopause Yoga™ - the world’s first menopause specific yoga programme designed to help women manage their menopause symptoms. As a leader in her field, and member of The British Menopause Society, she trains other yoga teachers all over the world and has published a book titled, ‘Menopause Yoga - A Holistic Guide To Supporting Women On Their Menopause Journey’ which you can purchase on Amazon Books and Singing Dragon publishing. Petra’s unique approach brings together Western medical science and Eastern wellbeing. Prior to your session, Petra will discuss with you particular aspects of menopause that you are finding challenging to manage. She'll then introduce specific yoga sequences to work on your priority areas such as hot flushes & night sweats, restoration for poor sleep, reducing stress and anxiety and boosting clarity for those experiencing brain fog. After your 90 minute session, you'll feel more in control of your body and mind, and have some key take-away postures to continue to introduce into daily life. She is a member of the British Menopause Society and runs monthly Menopause Yoga workshops both online, as well as in person, in studios across the UK, as well as private classes for those wanted individual support.
